The Thar is a cylindrical ceramic wall sconce with a subtle brick-pattern texture that communicates warmth and quiet precision. As an up down wall sconce, it projects light both upward and downward in soft, diffused beams - creating a gentle halo effect that flatters the three-dimensional surface. This ceramic sconce brings considered atmosphere to any interior without demanding attention.
Every Melzer Studio light fixture is individually hand-finished and studio-made using 3D clay printing - a proprietary additive manufacturing process in porcelain and stoneware. Ceramic lighting brings a warm, natural texture to any interior, and each piece carries the subtle individuality of the hand-finishing and kiln-firing process.
