Returns, exchanges & cancellations
1. 30-day guarantee – full refund
We believe in our lighting, and we're confident you'll fall in love with it too. If things don't quite work out, you can return any product you purchased within 30 days of receiving it and get a full refund.
- The refund covers the full amount paid to the studio, with no cancellation fee and no deductions.
- Return shipping: within Israel it is on us, and we will coordinate the pickup or shipment with you. For orders outside Israel, return shipping is paid by the customer.
- A product that was broken or damaged while in your possession: we will replace it with an identical product at no cost to you, instead of a refund. A replacement supplied this way cannot be returned for a refund.
- To request a return, send us a message with your order number within 30 days of receipt: Jonathan@melzerstudio.com.
- The refund is issued to the original payment method within 14 days of the product arriving at the studio.
- The refund does not include payments to third parties (installation, dismantling, electrician, customs duties and import taxes in the destination country).
- This guarantee is given in addition to your rights under applicable law, including the cancellation rights of protected groups, and does not detract from them.
2. Exchanges
Within 30 days of receiving the product you can also exchange it for a different product, on the same terms. Within Israel, shipping is on the studio; outside Israel, it is paid by the customer.
3. Defective or mismatched products
In the event of a defect, mismatch, or breach by the business, you will receive a full refund or a replacement. Shipping both ways is covered by us.
4. Shipping damage
Inspect the shipment on receipt. In case of damage, breakage, or missing items, photograph the packaging and the product and report to us within 48 hours of receipt.
5. Installation and product use
- Installation must follow the manufacturer's instructions only.
- Electrical products must be installed by a qualified, licensed electrician only.
- Responsibility for the suitability of the installation site (structure, anchoring, electrical point) lies with the customer / installer.
- The product warranty applies only when installation and use follow these requirements.
6. Handmade products & natural materials
The products are handmade from natural raw materials (such as ceramics and glaze). Minor variations in colour, texture, or dimensions (within a reasonable range) are part of the product's character and are not considered defects.
7. Legal notes
The above is in accordance with the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the Consumer Protection Regulations (Cancellation of Transaction), 5771-2010. In the event of a conflict between this text and the provisions of the law, the provisions of the law prevail.
