Welcome to Melzer Studio. Use of this site and purchase of products are subject to the following terms. By using the site, you accept these terms in full.
1. Product purchases
- Images are for illustration only. Minor differences in colour, texture, or finish between product images and the actual product may occur.
- As products are handmade from natural raw materials (ceramics, glazes), slight variations in shade, texture, or dimensions are part of the product's character and are not defects.
- Product dimensions are measured manually and minor deviations may occur.
- Purchases are made by credit card or other approved payment methods only.
2. Safety
- All light fixtures incorporate electrical components meeting approved standards (SI / CE / other international standards).
- Use of lighting products is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- Installation must be carried out only by a qualified, licensed electrician. Installation by an unqualified person voids all warranty and return rights.
- Products are not designed for outdoor use unless explicitly stated in the product description.
3. Delivery, shipping & taxes
- Delivery times vary - up to 45 business days. Custom orders: production time confirmed in advance.
- Prices do not include customs duties, import taxes, or VAT applicable in the destination country. These are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- The company is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, holidays, or other factors outside its control.
4. Cancellation & returns
- Orders may be cancelled in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
- Returns accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in original packaging.
- Installed or custom products may not be returned.
- Refunds issued minus the statutory cancellation fee (up to 5% or ₪100, whichever is lower).
5. Care & maintenance
- Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry brush only. Do not use liquids.
6. Product warranty
- 12-month warranty from date of purchase for manufacturing defects only.
- Warranty is conditional on installation by a qualified electrician following manufacturer instructions.
- Warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, inappropriate cleaning, or work by unauthorised parties.
- Warranty does not cover bulbs or third-party costs.
7. Intellectual property
- All site content is the exclusive property of Melzer Studio.
- No content may be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.
8. Privacy
- Personal details collected at purchase are used solely to complete the transaction and communicate with the buyer.
- The company will not pass personal details to third parties except as necessary to complete the transaction.
- Credit card details are processed via a secure external payment system and are not stored by the company.
9. General
- The company may update these terms at any time.
- Applicable law is Israeli law; disputes shall be heard in the competent courts of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa district.
